Master the Inner Game is a 9-month, immersive, cohort-based training program designed to rewire the thinking that drives your leadership at the deepest level.

Grounded in the latest neuroscience and proven with senior corporate leaders across a range of industries over the past two decades, our stepwise MINDSHIFT process equips you to decode, challenge, and rewire the thought patterns and hidden biases that limit your leadership. In this program, you’ll reshape the core of how you lead.

At the heart of this program is our proven, 5-phase roadmap to transformation: MINDSHIFT. Leveraging the pioneering work of Harvard researchers Robert Kegan and Lisa Lahey, we built the MINDSHIFT model by integrating key findings from neuroscience and rigorously optimizing the emerging process on hundreds of corporate leaders across a variety of industries. Clear, practical, and thoroughly field-tested, MINDSHIFT gives you the tools you need to rewire the inner game of your leadership and achieve peak performance. 

The Cohort Experience

Master the Inner Game convenes a select group of high-caliber leaders committed to taking their game to the next level. Cohort sessions offer a confidential space for you to share emerging insights, learn out loud with peers who are also pushing their own limits, and challenge one another to continue pursuing your respective leadership goals. Through deep trust, radical self-honesty, and mutual support, you forge lasting connections and catalyze transformation.

An Executive Coach

You are thoughtfully paired with a MINDSHIFT-certified executive coach who meets with you 1:1 at key points in the process. During these sessions, the coach acts as both a thought partner and pattern disruptor, helping you assess your performance across critical dimensions of leadership, reflect on your behavior in recent real-life scenarios, uncover the beliefs and assumptions driving your behavior, and pressure-test new behaviors more in step with your leadership goal.

Your journey begins with the Leadership Circle Profile, one of the most comprehensive leadership assessments available. The Profile gathers performance feedback from relevant stakeholders at all levels of your organization and across a range of critical leadership dimensions. Equipped with these insights, you then set a stretch goal that represents a real game-changer.

The Profile gathers performance feedback from relevant stakeholders at all levels of your organization and across a range of critical leadership dimensions. Equipped with these insights, you then set a stretch goal that represents a real game-changer.

Before each cohort session, you engage with our curated selection of online resources: Masterclass-style videos, leadership case studies, and foundational articles that distill the science behind behavior change. 

Grounded in MINDSHIFT (our proprietary, 5-phase roadmap to transformation), these resources prepare you to enter each session primed for deep work, fluent in the language of transformation, and ready to connect insights to lived experience.

This is where you put theory into practice. 

Drawing on the instructional resources, guided by your MINDSHIFT coach, and motivated by the example and support of your peers, you take focused time throughout the program to complete the 12 core MINDSHIFT exercises. Through guided reflection, you fire the new neural pathways needed to reach your next level.
